Uses same thrust (release) bearing, but different height carrier for bearing. Very rarely seen these days. 10/1975 - 1981 280ZX 30210-N4200 (now -VJ210) which is distinguished by using a 240mm friction disc and is matched to a different flywheel with a 240mm acting area. Same release bearing as the rest. Most common fitment, either as standard or as an upgrade. There is a very similar (but subtly different) late 280ZX pressure plate which has a six bolt fixing as opposed to the -N4200 9-bolt fixing. Thus, two friction discs to consider: 30100-N4294 for 225mm (up to 10/75 260Z) 30100-P9594 for 240mm (the rest, up to and including all 280ZX models in the UK) The situation becomes complicated in that, 1. Nissan change part numbers for clutch parts more often than some people change their underpants, so old stock may have pre-supercession numbers that could be difficult to back-track. 2. Most Zs have had a gearbox change and/or a flywheel change at some time during their 25 - 30 year life. The clutch you use is determined by: 1. What equipment is fitted to your particular car, in particular which flywheel and which release bearing carrier. 2. Whether you want to upgrade to the bigger clutch to handle your massive power increase or whether someone did this for you in the past. Add the complication of a variety of pattern parts (some good, some not so good) and the fact that USA specifications are different to UK specifications and you will appreciate the need for care in buying replacements! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
