These Genuine Nissan bolts have a very specific and unique shank diameter, shank (grip) length, and total length. You cannot use generic bolts in place of these. 
They will not stay tight no matter what you do. The Genuine Nissan nuts are also reduced in height so that they have the proper amount of thread protrusion past 
the nut when torqued, and also to have enough clearance inside the yoke area so that you can get a wrench on it. The Genuine Nissan lock washers are much more 
robust than generic hardware lock washers. See 2nd pic
